woo!

It is done. I have finally ordered a website! Pretty exciting! 

 

I was going to have a friend from Colorado design my site, but unfortunately because of trying to print my business card asap, I needed one this week. His name is Eric, and he’s starting a design business with a partner called Lev Design. Check it out! The website is very unique. It is still under construction, but once they get it going, I know they’ll have great work. 

 

I went with BluDomain  for now. They have some very elegant designs for an affordable price! I can’t wait to get some of my images online! Well, in a formal way…I guess I have them on here and Facebook, but it’s time for me to get professional. ha. I should be getting it this week so it should be up and running next week.

 

That is it for now, I must get back to editing.  

 

 

Business….card.

I’ve been trying to print a business card for months now. I was just about to order them when I realized I should probably wait until I have a website so I can have the site on it. 

 

This means I will have to wait a little longer…I guess I’ve waited this long so a couple more weeks won’t hurt.

 

Feel free to give me any kind of critique.

 

mac vs. pc

Just wanted to apologize if some of my pictures on here are messed up. I have a Mac so when I edit stuff, it always looks different on a PC. I don’t know why it has to be that way, but it just does. Personally, I like Macs better. If you want better quality on my blog, read it on a Mac.

Ha. All right, so maybe it won’t, but it doesn’t hurt to be optimistic. It is my new year’s resolution to update this thing more often.   Here is what I’ve been up to:     

Alissa and Pete. They are getting married August 2nd. I drove up to Maple Grove to Alissa’s parent’s house where I first met them. and all I can say is that they are so adorable together! They both have been living in New York City…Pete is from the East Coast (Pretty sure it was Philadelphia), and Alissa is from MN. I must admit, I was super jealous hearing they are living in Manhattan, where I once spent 4 months of my life.  However, that will all change once they get married. They’re heading to California where Pete will go to grad school, and then they are planning on moving to Chicago. Adventurous couple. I love it. For their wedding, they will be here in good ‘ole Minnesota. They heard about me through Jenny Bedard, another great photographer, who is already booked that same day so Ginger and I are very excited to shoot their outside weddng!

         

My cousin, Eric, got engaged! He has been dating Becca since 9th grade…it’s about time! Becca has been an awesome addition to our family already…with all-boy cousins, it’s nice to have another female to throw in the bunch, besides my sister and me. It has been a joy to get to know her over the years, and now I’ll have time to get to know her even more. I was honored when they asked me to photograph their engagement pictures…and their wedding! With all the busyness and stress that goes into photographing a wedding, I thought it would be much more enjoyable to be more of a guest so I could actually focus on Eric and Becca getting married! However, Ginger will be photographing it with another photographer so I’ll be able to take photos on the side! I am so excited for them! My uncle, Terry, and his girlfriend, Bonnie, asked me to take some pictures of them for fun! They are so supportive of my photography path, and I really could not do it without my family’s encouragement. 

  

   Last but not least, my cousin Jessica asked me to take some pictures of her and her daughter, Beatrice. We call her Bea for short. I took the family Christmas picture and some shots of mom and daughter….

 

Well, that was one big summary of what I’ve been doing in the past 3 months! I also had many weddings, and I’ll post some of those soon!
