I must dedicate a post to my amazing mom! She brought me into this world and has been there for me every step of the way. She loves me unconditionally. She has always offered me a shoulder to cry on and to this day, helps me tough out the crap life likes to throw my way. Her slapstick humor, cheery morning smiles, unselfish attitude never cease to go away, and I am blessed because of it. I truly would not know what to do without her. Love you, mom!! Happy Birthday!! xoxo
I hope you all had a glorious day celebrating moms! I know I did….
My family (minus my brother-in-law, Jason, who had to work) decided to spend part of the day at the Como Zoo and Conservatory. While trying to find a place to park, we realized we weren’t the only ones with the idea. Everyone and their moms were there. It was packed! We got some take-out and ate lunch in the park.
Can’t you just feel the love my sister has for me in this picture? She enjoys it so much when I bust out the camera when everyone is eating.
The zoo wasn’t quite open entirely, and with kids and strollers everywhere, we decided to skip it and enjoy the warmth and plants…
My mom is the BEST mom in the entire world. I’m so blessed to have her in my life. I really don’t know where I’d be without her.
My dad has a new website!
He makes commemorative displays in frames, DVD presentations for weddings, birthdays, etc., and creates business graphics for your company. Check it out!
Last weekend, my family got together to celebrate my Mormor’s 85th birthday! My Aunt Kik from Oregon was in town, and most of the cousins were able to stay for awhile to eat some KFC for lunch along with some delicious chocolate cake. 🙂 My mom asked me to take some pictures to remember the day. Here are a few!
In Swedish, “mormor” means “mom’s mom”. (That’s how we keep my parents’ parents apart: Mormor & Papa and Grandpa & Grandma)
We have a tradition on the Anderson side with Reddi Wip. Whenever there is at a family party, we go around the room spraying whip cream in everyone’s mouth. I really don’t know where it came from…but somehow it stuck.
Each of my cousin’s daughters tried it out for the first time and didn’t know quite what to think of it.
and even Gladdy got some! haha
